Ayada, Maldives

Where Luxury blends in with Nature

This exclusive resort in the southern Atolls of the Maldives catapults you right in the heart of The Maldives’ best surfing area with world class waves for goofy footers as well as for regular surfers. Located on a beautiful private island with pristine beaches and lush tropical greenery, Ayada Maldives offers a truly luxurious retreat with a genuine Maldivian style. The surf season runs here from September through to the end of May with empty line ups and the clearest water you can imagine. This makes it the perfect escape for luxury surfers.
Step outside to feel the sun on your face and the sand in your toes on the white sand beach. At Ayada Maldives, pamper yourself with a treatment at the full-service spa or have fun in the sun with activities like surfing and snorkeling. This luxury resort features undisturbed, indigenous vegetation, uninterrupted views of breathtaking Maldivian landscape and the smooth breeze of Indian Ocean.

Ayada 5* resort is located in the southern atoll just a few miles away from the equatorial line. This atoll is often referred as the most beautiful region in the Maldives. The paradise-like setting includes world class waves right at your door step and if luxury is on your wish list you are just right here at Ayada, because everything here can be described as “luxury”.

The area of the southern atoll offers mostly unexplored waves which means you mostly will have the lineup almost to yourself without any crowd. Due to the location the southern atoll picks up more swell than any other atoll from any direction with the greatest quantity and variety of surf spots.
As a guest at Ayada Resort you will have a choice of various waves within a few minutes by speed boat and 2 spots right in front of the resort. Goofy footer will be spoiled in this region with Love Charms left-hander as the closest wave and Five Islands just on the opposite side for right-handers. But also Two ways, Blue Bowls, Tiger Stripes and Antiques offer a variety from barreling and hollow walls to soft and never-ending glides.

The waves in the Maldives are usually small, from chest high to head high, but on good occasions the waves go well overhead and the swells will hit with some power. The best time for surfing in this region is actually the “off season” of surfing in the Maldives which means the area of the southern atoll offers surfing from September through the end of May.
The biggest advantage of this region is the water: clear, warm, uncrowded, clean, full of life and not to be missed by any adventure-loving person. Come sea for yourself and experience the magic of the Maldives.
